Below are common questions about the event

If you or a team of people would like to register, there are a few
ways to do it:

Eat a healthy breakfast and dress appropriately depending on the weather. Last year was very warm and it was a good idea to wear sunscreen, breathable clothing and bring along some water. It is a short event, so training ahead of time isn’t necessary, although you certainly can do some practice runs to prepare or aim for a quick finishing time.
It isn’t recommended, however, if you’re pet is child friendly, on a leash at all times, and you clean up after them, you will be allowed to participate with your four-legged friend, we just ask that you start at the back of the group.
Print off a pledge form and ask as many people as possible!  Co-workers, neighbours, friends, relatives… anyone you know! Every $100 raised in pledges will get you one entry into a draw to win one of our many awesome prizes!

Please make cheques out to the Autism Resource Center, and please add the name of the person being pledged in the memo line.

Every little bit makes a big difference, so get out there and ask!

Yes, there are goodie bags for our event.  They will be available for pick up a day or two prior to the event at:

Yes, we recommend that children are registered.  This makes it easier for us to track total number of participants, but more importantly, it makes the children feel involved as they will get their own t-shirt and bib number, just like everyone else.
The race will start promptly at 10am, therefore, we recommend that if you would like to participate in any of the pre-race events, (such as getting your beautiful faces decked out in the latest puzzle piece fashion) that you arrive around 9:00am. As well, if you have last minute registrations or pledges to submit, arrive by 9:00am to allow for such transactions.
Absolutely!  We are always looking for volunteers for race day.  There are many tasks available to conquer from set up/tear down, to directing and cheering along the course, manning the prizes or food, and cheering on those that cross the finish line.  Every job is important and we encourage all to participate or lend a hand!
